500 m2 in an area of 7500 m2 with four different field trials
We want know to study whether over-expression of those transgenes modify growth and development of trnasgenic trees growing in the field.

Tree species

Citrus sinensis x Poncirus trifoliata
Carrizo citrange

"Purpose of the release: Field trial with transgenic oranges and citranges over-expressing flowering meristem identity genes from A. thaliana to investigate:
- possible modification of tree growth due to profuse flowering.
- possible modification of flower and fruit development
- possible modification of flowering time in non-transgenic scions grafted on transgenic rootstocks. "(JRC notification 2008)
